FlexReturn is an additional benefit for customers who purchase a low-cost return journey.
When you buy a return trip, you automatically have the option to take a return journey one departure earlier or one departure later than your originally booked departure – provided there are available seats. And completely free of charge.
You do not need to change the ticket online – simply show up at the port and check in for an alternative departure.
How to use FlexReturn
- Arrive at the port for the departure you wish to take – one departure earlier or later than your original booking.
- You can only take an alternative departure if there are available seats.
- When making an online change to the ticket, normal change rules and fees apply, and the flexibility is lost.
Periods without FlexReturn
During particularly busy periods, the right is reserved to remove the option of FlexReturn. This is to avoid situations where our customers cannot take an alternative departure because it is fully booked.
No price adjustment when using FlexReturn
- You will not receive a refund if your new departure is cheaper.
- You will not pay extra if your new departure is more expensive.
How to see your alternative departures
Your alternative departures are shown on the booking confirmation, receipt and reminder (often marked in grey).
Important to remember
- When changing online, FlexReturn is lost and normal rules/change fees apply.
- Always confirm your original booking if in doubt.
- An alternative departure is only possible if there is space.
- Use your confirmation/receipt as proof when attending.
